How can I find out what voice is used in a video or audio clip?

  • Updated

You can usually hear our technology used all across the internet on social media, on YouTube, in marketing material, and sometimes you might want to know what voice is being used in this material. Luckily, we offer a tool just for this.

If you go to the Voice Library and look to the right of the search bar, you will see a little button that allows you to upload a file to use as the search method. Click this button and upload the file you want to search.

The AI will then present you with the most similar voices or the exact matches if there is one.

It's important to keep in mind when searching that you should only include the audio of the spoken voice and nothing else. If there's any background noise, music, or anything else in the audio clip, you should remove it and only include the actual audio of the voice. If you don't have any clean audio, you can use the Voice Isolator first to isolate the voice and then upload that to get a more accurate match.

Also, please keep in mind that this will only search the voices available in the public voice library and not any custom voices from other sources.
