How do I cancel my ElevenReader subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime through the platform where you subscribed:

Apple users: Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.

Google Play users: Open the Play Store > tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

Website users: Click on your Avatar to access Account details > Manage billing.

Cancelling will prevent future charges, but you'll still have access until the end of your current billing period.

 

I paid for a year, can I downgrade to monthly halfway through?

Subscriptions cannot be downgraded mid-cycle through app stores. Once your current annual plan ends, you can choose a monthly option when resubscribing.

 

Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?

At this time, we don’t offer the option to pause a subscription. If you no longer wish to be charged, we recommend cancelling your current plan. You’ll continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing cycle, and you can resubscribe at any time.

 

What happens to my files/books if I cancel my subscription?

When you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to your files or books used during your subscription period. However, access to premium features – such as offline mode – will be restricted once the subscription ends.

 

What happens to my hours if I cancel my subscription/downgrade to the free plan? 

If you cancel your subscription, any unused hours from that plan will remain in your account for up to 12 months — but you won’t be able to use them while on the free plan. To use those hours again, you’ll need to reactivate a paid subscription at any time within the 12-month expiration window. When you downgrade, you’ll lose access to paid features like offline downloads and extended listening hours.
