How do offline downloads work?

Offline downloads let you prepare content for listening without an internet connection. You can download articles, PDFs, eBooks, and other supported content directly in ElevenReader.

You can download the full text or, for larger files, select specific chapters or sections.

How many offline download hours do I get?

Paid subscribers can use up to 20 hours of offline downloads per day and 150 hours per month under the current fair use limits.

Offline download hours are fixed. Extra Hours do not increase your offline download allowance. Extra Hours can only be used for online Text to Audio and Premium Titles.

How long does it take to create an offline download?

Offline downloads usually take around 2-5 minutes to prepare. Larger files may take longer.

How do I use my offline downloads?

Once a download is ready, it is stored in the app and can be played without Wi-Fi or mobile data.

You can remove downloaded content at any time to free up storage on your device. Downloads are also removed when you sign out of the app.

For larger files, you may be asked to download individual chapters or sections instead of the entire file at once.

Do offline downloads expire?

Yes. Offline downloads remain available for 60 days after they are created.

You’ll receive a notification 7 days before they expire, giving you time to renew the download if needed.
