If you subscribed to ElevenLabs through the mobile app (Apple App Store or Google Play), please note that your subscription is handled entirely by the app store, not ElevenLabs directly.
If you subscribed through the mobile app, it isn't possible to enable usage based billing. If you want access to this feature, you'll need to switch to a website subscription. See below for details on how to do this.
Subscriptions Purchased in the App (Apple or Google Play)
All billing, renewals, upgrades, and cancellations must be managed through your device’s app store account. ElevenLabs cannot cancel or modify App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
If you’d like to switch to a website (Stripe) subscription, you must:
- Cancel your mobile app subscription through the App Store or Google Play.
- Wait until it expires (it will remain active until the end of your current billing period).
- After expiration, visit elevenlabs.io and subscribe again on the website.
If you attempt to upgrade on the website while your mobile subscription is active, you will see an alert asking you to cancel your mobile subscription first.
Subscriptions Purchased on the Website
- Website subscriptions are billed through Stripe and can be managed directly from your ElevenLabs account under Account > Settings > Manage Subscription

Website subscriptions can be upgraded, downgraded, or canceled directly on the ElevenLabs platform.
Account Bans or Deletions
If your ElevenLabs account is banned or deleted, it does not cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. You must still cancel it manually through your app store account settings.
