How can I create my own voices in ElevenReader?

ElevenReader’s Voice Design lets you create your own narrator voices with a simple text prompt.

For example, “A woman in her late 20s to early 30s with a soft, airy, breathy timbre. Neutral American accent. Very slow, intimate pacing, low volume, close-mic’d delivery that feels personal and confidential. Gentle emotional warmth. Studio-quality audio with subtle intimacy.”

This feature is included for ElevenReader Ultra subscribers. You can create unlimited voices and easily delete those you no longer use. If you cancel your subscription, you will no longer have access to voices created with Voice Design and you will not be able to create new voices.

A well-crafted prompt can be the difference between a generic voice and one that truly fits your vision. In general, more descriptive and granular prompts tend to yield more accurate and nuanced results. The more detail you provide — including age, gender, tone, accent, pacing, emotion, style, and more - the better the model can interpret and deliver a voice that feels intentional and tailored.
