Voice only
Voice only calls are charged based on the call duration, with a 95% discount for periods of silence longer than 10 seconds. LLM costs are passed through separately - for estimates, see LLM costs.

The length of the call is measured based on the connection duration. This includes the time from when you begin the call, to when you end the call or the window is closed. This is why the call itself may be shorter than the duration you are charged for.
Multimodal
