There is no cost to create your agent. The cost of calls depends on whether your agent is voice only, multimodal or text only.
You need to have purchased Pay As You Go credits, or enabled usage based billing (only available on legacy subscriptions), before you can exceed your credit quota. You can find out more about these options here:
Voice only
Voice only calls are charged based on the call duration, with a 95% discount for periods of silence longer than 10 seconds.

The length of the call is measured based on the connection duration. This includes the time from when you begin the call, to when you end the call or the window is closed. This is why the call itself may be shorter than the duration you are charged for.
Multimodal
Multimodal calls are charged based on the call duration, with a 95% discount for periods of silence longer than 10 seconds. You're also charged for each text message - for costs, see the table below. LLM costs are passed through separately - for more information, see the following LLM costs section.
Text only
In text only calls you're charged for each text message - for costs, see the table below. LLM costs are passed through separately - for more information, see the following LLM costs section.
Cost of text messages - this will be converted to credits for self service subscription plans.

LLM costs
LLM costs are passed through separately - you can access estimated costs for each agent, based on its past behaviour and knowledge base, from the Detailed costs button in the Primary LLM selector in your agents settings.
